The Friends of Cooper Park's board received the extremely sad news that our good neighbor, dear friend and former board member Doug Cheverie, unexpectedly passed away recently. To honor his life, we would like to plant a tree in the park about which he was passionate. If you would care to contribute to the tree fund, please let me know here or through a personal message. Because we prefer to plant the tree this season and not wait till spring, time is of the essence. Our goal is $550. Thank you everyone. Donations made below will be directed toward our parent organization and fiscal sponsor, The Park People of Milwaukee County.
